You should try to introduce new drinks and dishes about every 30 minutes or so, that way people don’t get hungry or thirsty during half-time or quarter breaks. Don’t plan too many overwrought activities like trivia or other games, because it is really only another distraction to the main event. Plan ahead but don’t over-plan. After all, it just a party for you and your friends.
